1. Power off your phone.
2. Once the device is off. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power button together for a few seconds.
3. Release the Power key as soon as you see the HTC logo and wait for few seconds.
4. But keep holding the Volume Down button to enter into the Download Mode.
5. Now, choose the Reboot to Bootloader Mode using the Volume button and select it using the Power button.
6. Now use the same keys as before to select "Boot to Recovery Mode".

1. First of all, make sure you have installed HTC One E9s USB Driver and ADB and Fastboot Drivers on your Windows PC.
2. Enable "USB Debugging" on your phone from Developer Options. If Developer Options is missing; go to Settings > About Phone and tap on Build Number for about 7-10 times.
3. Connect your device to PC and open Command Prompt (CMD).
