1. Power off your phone.
2. Once the device is off. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power button together for a few seconds.
3. Release the Power key as soon as you see the HTC Logo on the screen.
4. Now, choose the Reboot to Bootloader Mode using the Volume button and select it using the Power button.
5. Now, choose Recovery Mode using the Volume Down button and select it using the Power button.
   
6. When the Android Logo shows up press the Power button.
7. While holding down the Power key press the Volume Up button at once.
8. Now, your phone should boot into Recovery Mode.

Boot HTC Desire 650 into Recovery using ADB command

1. First of all, make sure you have installed HTC Desire 650 USB Driver and ADB and Fastboot Drivers on your Windows PC.
2. Enable "USB Debugging" on your phone from Developer Options. If Developer Options is missing; go to Settings > About Phone and tap on Build Number for about 7-10 times.
3. Connect your device to PC and open Command Prompt (CMD).
4. Enter the below command to boot HTC Desire 650 into Recovery Mode.

   adb reboot recovery

1. Power off your Phone.

4. Now, choose Download Mode using the Volume buttons and select it using the Power button.
